Between Easter and Pentecost Stations of the Resurrection will be observed each Wednesday evening at 19.30.  All are welcome.

Services for Holy Week 2024

Sunday 24th March  -  Palm Sunday liturgy of the Palms in the hall followed by procession and Mass

 

Monday 25th March  -  Stations of the Cross at 7:30pm

 

Tuesday 26th March  -  Mass at 10:30am -  Stations of the Cross at 7:30pm

 

Wednesday 27th March  -  Stations of the Cross at 7:30pm

 

Thursday 28th March  -  The start of Triduum

Maundy Thursday Mass, Stripping of the Altar and Vigil at 7:30pm

 

Friday 29th March  -  Good Friday Liturgy, Veneration of the Cross, Communion with the pre-consecrated Hosts at 1pm

 

Sunday 31st March  -  First Mass of Easter with the Lighting of the Easter Fire, and Renewal of Baptismal Vows is at 6am 


This Mass is followed by breakfast in the hall 


The Second Mass of Easter is at 11am

COVID:  The latest Covid guidelines indicate that we should take a Lateral Flow Test, if possible before our gatherings (obviously, staying away and arranging a PCT if the LFT is positive).  We should continue to use hand gel when entering and leaving the building.  It is no longer a requirement to wear Masks during the Mass, but some may still prefer to do so.  A physical distance of 1 metre should be kept between different household groups.  At the ‘Peace’, please greet people from your own household group in your usual way but others should be greeted maintaining distancing.  Following discussion at the Vestry, Holy Communion will once again be given in both kinds.  The host will be dipped ("intincted") briefly in the chalice by the Priest who will say the words "the Body and Blood of Christ".  Everyone who touches the breads before communion (the Sacristan and the Priest) will have sanitised their hands and worn a mask.  Please step to the side to consume your communion.
